The **Robert Herber Mill Knife Carbon steel** is a perfect peeling knife. Because the blade is very thin it is amazing to use. It is the perfect potato peeler.


This Mill knife is made from carbon steel. Because it is so hard this steel can be sharpened razor-sharp. However, it is prone to rust a lot faster than the [Robert Herder Mill knife with stainless steel](/en/pt/-robert-herder-stainless-steel-windmill-knife.htm ), if you don’t use it properly. Al een tijd in gebruik en ze snijden fantastisch. Wel afwassen en drogen na gebruik want anders gaan ze roesten en het houten handvat heb ik voor gebruik met olie behandeld. Een extra mesje besteld voor mijn dochter.

Carbonstaal, dus heel makkelijk vlijmscherp te krijgen met een aanzetstaal. Ideale compagnon dus in de keuken. 
Niet voor iedereen… carbonstaal vraagt een iets secuurdere aanpak gezien dit staal vrij snel roest; altijd snel genoeg afdrogen en af en toe wat olie. 
Na verloop van tijd krijg je een fantastisch patina!


Superfijn zo'n vlijmscherp mes. T.o.v. het ROESTVRIJE-molenmesje niet zo'n grote verschillen te zien/merken op dit moment. 
Onze voorkeur heeft toch dit carbonstaalmesje. Het ziet er na enige tijd gebruik dan wel niet zo mooi meer uit, maar speelt nostalgie een rol ....
En zeer eenvoudig en snel weer te scherpen mbv een aanzetstaal. 


Vlijmscherp zijn deze mesjes en onmisbaar in elke keuken
