Every kitchen needs a peeling knife. You can use one to peel all kinds of different products. With a sharp peeling knife you can peel just about anything!

What is a peeling knife?

A peeling knife is a small kitchen knife with a blade length of about (roughly) 7 to 11 cm’s. The edge is straight and the back runs down towards the tip of the blade. A classic “sheepsfoot” blade, almost looking like a small santoku. There is some confusion about the term peeling knife. It is often confused with a paring knife or a turning knife.
