Compact Spyderco pocket knife with round shapes. The top of the blade has been enhanced with ridges for additional grip for the thumb (jimping). The knife offers you enough grip and can be used for many different tasks, while, at the same time, still looks relatively modest in terms of size. As such the knife is great for daily use (EDC). 

The handle is made from strong plastic FRN. As such the knife, despite its solidity, is still quite lightweight. 

Almost all knives made from so-called stainless steel are basically only corrosion resistant, some more and some less, but in the end they are all prone to rust. In large part this depends on the amount of carbon added to a knife, a substance you also need to make sure a knife is, and stays, sharp. 

There is, however, a knife with a blade made from Japanese H2 steel, that is actually stainless, even in seawater, which is known to be an extremely corrosive medium. The carbon element in this metal was mostly replaced by nitrogen, and the final result is a great knife comparable to normal types of good-quality steel knives, which doesn't rust. 

Of course the other metals parts are also completely stainless. 

Rust does not only cosmetically affect the blade; if rust emerges on the edge of the knife, it loses its sharpness. Diameter thumb hole: 1.1 cm

Een kek mesje met de karakteristieke Spyderco-vormgeving dat doet wat het belooft: een uitstekende prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding bieden. Niet alles van Spyderco is top maar dit is door de zoutwaterbestendigheid  een heel fijn mesje om mee te nemen naar (vakantie)gebieden in de buurt van de zee. Licht en compact en lekker opvallend door z'n felgele kleur die weer mooi contrasteert met de zwarte clip. Blij mee.

I work on a livery yard with horses and bought this knife for cutting bale twine and opening the plastic wrapping on wood shavings and on haylage bales which is very thick.
It’s small and very light and fits into any small pocket like the ones in jodhpurs or the front pockets of jeans. Although it’s light, it feels solid in your hand and the thumb grip makes it very stable. 
It just works, while looking and feeling great and being easy to carry around- what more can you ask for?
