The Benchmade Bugout 535FE-05 Crater Blue is a special edition of the famous Bugout. Originating from a collection of knives for which Benchmade used nature as a starting point. The colour composition of the blade and the handle, of this version, has a nautical theme. The dark blue handle represents the icy depths of the sea, and the Flat Dark Earth Cerakote blade finish the adjacent shoreline.

This was my first Benchmade knife. Expectations was high, but kind of disappointing. Wasn't very sharp, blade did not move freely, could not flip. But after using it for 2 two it frees up, and now it works very well. Overall a very nice knife, very happy about it, but it is expensive for what it is. It is low profile and very light, it is nice to carry. It is a great knife, but it is high priced in ny opinion.
