The **Case Smooth Mini Trapper Gray Birdseye Maple** is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: one classic clip point and one traditional sheepsfoot. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened, they are kept in place by a slipjoint. It is also enhanced with a so-called half-stop. This means that it will stop half-way through closing to make sure you can get your fingers out of the way.

## Case Tru-Sharp SS steel

The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. A distinguishing feature of this type of steel is that it can be sharpened super sharp, very quickly.

## Gray Birdseye Maple handle

The first thing that stands out about this knife is the grey handle made from maple wood. The handle has a glossy shine to it. The Case logo is inlaid in the handle as a subtle detail.
