To start with feedback for K&T:
I usually buy on the German site (.de) and, in the few cases when I’ve needed customer service, it has been outstanding. A real person replied, took my request seriously, and provided polite, helpful service (thank you, Gaby).
This time I bought on the international site (.com), and I swear it was the last time. A bot replied, neither quickly nor helpfully, and the follow-up emails were answered off-topic. Never again!
As for the knife:
It looks different from the pictures. All the metal parts of the handle are plain steel, untreated, and nothing like what you see in the photos.
As it is, the difference to the Embla is minimal: different wood and a clip point instead of a drop point.
That said, make no mistake: this is yet another beautifully designed, made, and finished knife by Fällkniven. Given the clip point, it’s intended for hunting rather than bushcraft, but it’ll serve perfectly well for that too, thanks to the strength of the tip.
By the way: it fits the Idun’s sheath perfectly, which is sold as NL5el.
Pricey, as usual, but worth the money for me.
