This white **KAI Janus twin-grater** from the Sebastian Conran Gifu collection has a coarse and a fine side. This enables you to use the grater for many different tasks in the kitchen. The plastic collection container which automatically collects the grated food is incredibly practical. As such no food is wasted!

 ## Traditional Japanese design

 The preparation of food is one of the many wonders that This multi-functional grater, inspired by the shape of a traditional coat of arms, was designed to contribute to this in a practical and hygienic way. The modern and razor-sharp stainless steel blades do need protecting, like a Katana swords needs a sheath. So carefully store the grater, don't randomly place it in a kitchen cupboard with different other kitchen tools on top.

 ## Sebastian Conran Gifu collection

 This grater was designed for KAI by the top product-designer called Sebastian Conran. He worked with at least fifteen Japanese craftsmen in Gifu (Japan) to create this pair of scissors. Inspired by the magical, natural environment in the south of the island Honshu, they developed a range of unique products, using a combination of traditional techniques with an original and contemporary international design.
