The **Old Timer Woodsman 165OT** is a cool, affordable hunting knife. The combination of coloured polymer and polished brass gives the Woodsman a classic look. It also has a traditional blade shape. All in all, it looks like a knife from a bygone age.



The handle of this pocket knife is made from a polymer. A sawcut texture has been added to the surface, providing plenty of grip. The blade is made of 7Cr17MoV, a simple, stainless steel that is easy to sharpen.



The Old Timer Schrade Woodsman 165OT comes in a leather belt sheath with belt loop that can be attached to belts up to 7.5 cm wide.

Old Timer belongs to Schrade Knives. They make great knives at great prices. Old Timer is a shining example. There are few brands that can compete with these kinds of prices. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices.

Nauwelijks iets op aan te merken. Snobs zouden waarschijnlijk een staal wensen met een betere reputatie dan het weinig sprankelende 7cr17mov. Op papier doet dit staal weinig of niets onder voor 420HC. Laatst genoemde komt uit de VS en 7cr17mov uit China. Ja er zijn staalsoorten met een betere edge retention maar niet voor dit geld. 

Mijn exemplaar is voor in de uitstalkast. Ik ben meer dan tevreden.
