The **Schrade Reckon** is a strong survival knife, for an excellent price. The combination of the black handle and the black blade makes this knife look very tough. The texture of the handle provides you with enough grip. Even in wet conditions!

The blade is made from AUS8 steel. A stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The hollow grind ensures that the knife is amazing to use. It comes in a plastic sheath. This sheath keeps it perfectly in place. The sheath has a belt loop that can accommodate straps up to 5.5 cm wide.

## About Schrade Knives

Schrade produces great knives for great prices. That's what they are good at. There are few brands that can compete with these kinds of prices. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Not something to worry about, and in line with the prices.

Heavy, solid knive, handle suites my hand well. Excellent for shopping, but is bit big for precise work. Nevertheless, very, vey decent knife for a few bucks and highly recommended.

One minor remark. The 4 screws used in the handle should be more robust. Used screws are 2.5 mm inbus, but for such robutst knife 4 or 5 mm should be used which is not a problem as the handle is big enough for that. Becker BK-series have robust bolts as well (and a robust handle)
