Better than the Manix ball lock in my opinion, genuine ambidexterous usability, lighter and without the 'hot spot' zimped liners. 4 way carry clip and lanyard hole without the fiddly insert of the ball lock, Military etc... Great lock I used to prefer compression or liner locks but am now converted to back locks. Slightly thicker blade than the ball lock version also. If Spyderco ever fit a Shaman blade in a Manix back lock handle then the perfect heavy duty EDC lock folder will have been achieved.
