Spyderco Waterway FB43GP fixed knife, Lance Clinton design

After I've bought here I found in my usual store significantly cheaper and want to buy second one. Knife itself is near perfection, as cutting tool and very good as piercing tool (weapon). Blade steel is near S30V and above VG-10. But is far better in corrosion resistance. Handle is very non-slipping (don't know how to tell about this). Absolute knife in kitchen and ocean - very vast working diapason. Superknife.

I bought this knife for a canoeing holiday in Canada where it was used for preparing fish and general tasks such as chopping veg. I chose this knife primarily because of its non corrosive steel but found it an ideal general purpose knife, it kept its edge throughout, I liked the profile of the blade, the tip very good for accurate cuts. The knife is well made, strong with a full tang and easy to clean sheath. If I had one criticism I am not a fan of the handle finding it tough on the hand after prolonged use but that would not stop me recommending this knife and I intend to keep it permanently with my canoe gear.
