The **The James Brand The Barnes** is not just any type of titanium framelock pocket knife. The James Brand continues to outdo itself. The Barnes is the perfect example. In every way possible this modern pocket knife is simply great.



As mentioned before this is not just any type of pocket knife with titanium scales. There is something special happening here. The handle from The Barnes is namely made from one piece of 6AL4V titanium. An integral construction. Very difficult to produce. As such you rarely see it. It doesn't only look great, it also comes with many advantages. You namely need a minimum amount of screws for the handle and the knife is very solid. This also means that no dirt can accumulate in between the standoffs. To clean the knife you only need to loosen the hinge to remove the blade. That's it! The handle is enhanced with a diamond pattern which offers a lot of grip.



For such a premium knife you need a premium type of steel. That is why The James Brand used Böhler M390 steel. A great type of steel that retains its sharpness well. The droppoint style blade looks appealing and is perfect for daily tasks. You open the blade with the thumb stud. This is easy thanks to the ceramic ball bearings.



You might almost forget all about it, but this part is also worth mentioning: the pocket clip. Like the handle it is made from one piece of titanium. But how do you attach the pocket clip? There is no screw in sight. Right? The James Brand ingeniously added the screw to the cut-out of the handle. Where the blade rests when closed. A nice detail is that the eyes for the lanyard are also added to the pocket clip.



But that's not all. Each The Barnes comes with a cool The James Brand coin. A nice accessory for your Instagram pictures or for on your desk.
