A good knife with some excellent features obviously not U.K. carry friendly. The knife feels good in the hand with a nice positive grip. It’s surprisingly light weight with excellent sharpness straight out of the box. The blue handle looks great and makes it easier to find in your pack. The opening is ok not as smooth as my spyderco paramilitary but still good. The only down side for me is the overly small and for me almost redundant blue, fortunately removable, thumb stud. Essentially it’s too small to work effectively, I found that I needed two hands to open! Fortunately the guys at custom knife garage (in Canada) do a great line in various thumb studs specifically made for the bugout, that come in a variety of finishes (but fortunately not in the handle clashing blue, of the original). They are really friendly and helpful too! Answering any emails super quickly.
