The Spyderco ukpk in spy27 steel is an excelent choice for a UK edc knife. It has excelent edge retention and is plenty tough enough for what anyone could need an edc for. It performes very much like a cpm s30v blade. It is also easy to keep sharp. Quite honestly most of the time a strop is all it'll need to give it that keen edge again. The frn handle scales have plenty of texture to give a solid grip and with that front choil it's easy to choke up on. All in all this has got to be my go to edc. Well worth the price point.
