Backpacks & pouches: the right bag for every adventure

Which backpack or pouch is right for you?

Choose a backpack or pouch based on the capacity you actually need, then consider everything else.

• Capacity in litres. Most backpacks here hold 15 to 25 litres: enough for a day out with food, a jacket and a bottle. For a long day or a night outdoors, look at 30 to 40 litres. Over 50 litres is for multi-day trips.
• MOLLE or not. Three-quarters of our backpacks have MOLLE webbing, so you can attach pouches and expand your bag as your plans change. If you just want a bag for everyday use, you do not need those loops.
• Material affects weight. Cordura 700D is the most common here: tough without being too heavy. Cordura 1000D lasts even longer but weighs more, while X-Pac is notably light and water-repellent.
• Check the carrying system. From around 25 litres, a hip belt makes a difference by shifting the weight from your shoulders to your hips. A ventilated back panel means less sweat on warm days.

Pouches: an annexe to your pocket

Pouches are compact bags made from top-quality materials you use to organize your daily belongings. There is enough room to store, for instance, a multi-tool with all its accessories, a flashlight with additional battery, paracord, a lighter and many other things that might come in handy. A pouch is basically an annexe to your pocket: gear you use on a daily basis, but don't carry in your pocket, can be stored in your pouch.

MOLLE compatible backpacks and pouches

Almost all our backpacks and pouches are enhanced with the MOLLE system. With it you can easily attach pouches and storage cases on backpacks and tactical clothing. Thanks to this system you can easily expand your backpack by adding pouches to it.
