Cool bags
A cool bag is soft and folds away; a cool box is not. This page leaves you with only the bags from the full cool range.
Foldable is usually the reason to choose one: empty, it takes up hardly any space, and full, it hangs from a shoulder strap. Yeti supplies the models here. If it is for a weekend, or you need to fit more in, then a cool box is the better choice.

Features of cool bags
A cool bag is soft and foldable. That is the whole difference from a cool box: empty, it takes up hardly any room, and full, it hangs from a shoulder strap instead of needing two hands to lift it.
The insulation is double-walled with foam in between, in the walls and in the lid. The models here are around 8 and 12 litres, enough for lunch for two or an afternoon with something to drink alongside.
A cool bag keeps things cold for less time than a thick-walled cool box. For a day that is fine, for a weekend of camping it is not. Put in an ice pack and keep it out of the sun.
