Miyabi 7000D knives
The Miyabi 7000D knives are a pleasure to look at. The attractive damask steel is complemented by the sleek and comfortable handle. The core of the blade is made out of CMV60-steel. A tough and durable steel which is folded between 65 layers of damask. Damask is what the D stands for in 7000D. The blade is Honbazuke-sharpened and combined with the high hardness guarantees ultimate sharpness.
Grip
The grip is made in a typical modern Japanese design. The traditional D-shape makes this knife very comfortable to use even over an extended period of time. The stainless steel handle is laid-in with a partly dark micarta. This is a composite material of linen and resin.
Zwilling Japan
The knives are made in Seki, Japan, where Zwilling J.A. Henckels combines German quality with Japanese craftmanship.
