Characteristics of the Zwilling Four Star knives
Zwilling Four Star blade
The blade is made from ice-hardened Friodur steel. For this patented technique the steel is first heated and then cooled to -70°C. The result is a rock-solid and corrosion resistant type of steel. It is even more stainless than standard types of steel. Fortunately, it is still easy to sharpen. The blades are sharpened with laser precision in the Zwilling factory and therefore razor-sharp.

Zwilling Four Star maintenance
The knives are easy to maintain. The handle is maintenance-free even! Do, however, always wash the knives by hand. Dishwasher detergents can negatively affect the knives. If, in time, you notice that the knife is not as sharp as it was before, sharpen it!
