History of Ledlenser

Ledlenser was founded in 1993 by brothers Harald and Rainer Optenplatz in Solingen, Germany, and has since established itself as a leading manufacturer of high-quality torches and head torches. The brand stood out in the early years for its innovative use of LED technology, which set them apart from competitors who still offered mainly traditional glow and halogen lamps.

In 2000, Ledlenser introduced the P7, a torch that quickly grew in popularity due to its exceptional brightness and robustness.
