How to choose the best notebook

The first thing to consider is size. Notebooks come in many sizes, are you looking for one that will fit inside your chestpocket? Or a larger one to carry in your bag?

In addition, there is a difference in layout. Some notebooks come lined (ruled), others come squared (grid), or with no lines at all (blank).
