Tomahawks and modern throwing axes
Our throwing axes are divided into two different classes: tomahawks and modern throwing axes. You'll find both on this page. If you are specifically looking for one of the two, you can easily filter this on the left side of the page.
The tomahawk axe
Tomahawks are old-fashioned throwing axes, known from the Native Americans. They often have a long and relatively thin stem and a small, light head. This means the weight is quite low and well-balanced, making the Tomahawk perfect for throwing. With its light weight and versatility, the tomahawk is also becoming increasingly popular among bushcraft and hiking enthusiasts.
The modern throwing axe
Modern throwing axes are generally smaller hand axes with a large head for their size and a sturdy handle. This makes them strong and gives the axe a relatively large cutting edge, which makes it easier for it to get stuck in the target. The small size means they fit perfectly in one hand, and you can easily take them with you in a backpack.
