Nitecore TIKI torches

5.2 cm long, 12 grams, 300 lumens. That combination is still unusual in the Nitecore TIKI. The translucent body also lights up itself, and depending on the version you get UV light or a glow in the dark housing as well.

What sets the Nitecore TIKI apart

This is the smallest torch from which Nitecore still gets a genuinely useful beam. The main LED gives a wide beam of white light out to about 71 metres, enough to take in a garden path, a dark staircase or a driveway at a glance. It is operated with a single switch with momentary-on: press and hold for instant access to the highest mode, double-click to start on the lowest. Charging is via USB.

Within the series, the difference is mainly in the extra light. The standard version has a soft white auxiliary light of 22 lumens, excellent as a reading light or as a little lantern in a tent. The UV version swaps that for 500 mW of UV light, letting you track traces while hunting or check banknotes and identity documents. And the glow in the dark models charge up their housing in the light, so you can simply spot the torch lying there in the dark.

If, in the same pocket size, you mainly want more lumens, have a look at the Nitecore TINI 3.
