The blade of the Berget has a classic droppoint shape and is made from rust-resistant Sandvik 12C27 steel, known for its balance between sharpness retention, toughness and ease of maintenance. The Scandi edge is ideal for light wood carving and everyday tasks. The knife opens via a traditional nail nick and is locked with a backlock. Given its overall size, the blade thickness is considerable, giving the Berget the feel of a solid and compact fixed blade knife.

The handle is made of micarta, a hard and durable material that is highly resistant to weather conditions and requires minimal maintenance.
