Rough Ryder Reserve pocket knife: premium traditionals
The Rough Ryder Reserve is the luxury line from Rough Rider Knives, combining traditional patterns with high-quality materials and workmanship. Classic designs like the Barlow, Trapper and Copperhead get an elegant upgrade in this series, without losing the excellent value for money we have come to expect from Rough Ryder.
Features of the Rough Ryder Reserve
High-quality D2 steel
Each knife in this series has one or more blades made from classic razor-sharp D2 steel. This robust steel type is known for its toughness and long-lasting sharpness. D2 steel is relatively easy to sharpen, and with proper maintenance it will retain its good qualities.
Unique handles made of premium materials
The handles of the Rough Ryder Reserve pocket knives are made from high-quality materials like micarta or stabilished oak wood. Micarta is a durable and grippy material. Oak wood makes each handle unique, as wood is a natural product. The handles are finished with stunning inlays and nickel-silver bolsters, adding to the luxurious nature of these knives.
Slipjoint mechanism with stop pin
All knives in the Rough Ryder Reserve series feature a slipjoint mechanism, meaning they do not have a full lock, but use resistance to keep the blade open or closed. This makes them legal to carry in many countries. The addition of the stop pin prevents the blade from becoming damaged when the knife closes.
